Are you bored, fed up, need some new friends, or just want a change of scenery?
Join Peterborough Escapes and you will have a whole calendar of events to attend and a host of new friends to meet. Peterborough Escapes is the new social group for Peterborough. It replaces Peterborough Friends which has been running successfully for the last 10 years. It will continue to provide social events for anyone wanting to escape the sofa, work pressures, or wanting something to do in their spare time.
There will be a range of events every week – walks, pub trips, coffee mornings, theatre, cinema, meals out, wine tastings, day trips, parties, and even holidays. As long as you are over 18 you are welcome to join. Currently we have over 200 members in their 20s to 80s, mainly but not exclusively singles. Everyone is welcome.
Our website and membership app were built by Lee Arbon, one of our own members, through his company Voltrail. He designed the whole thing around how the group actually works - from sign-ups and events to membership payments - and it's made running Peterborough Escapes far easier.
